choreographer dancer ran-Christian Chalon: 'Transit',
Filmsong for 'Hey Stranger' a film by Peter Woditsch, sung by
Hanna Schygulla and filmmusic for "Mygdal", a
documentary by Miel van Hoogenbemt on a German settlement in
Israel.
In 1996 David LINX was nominated for the Django d'Or in France
for the category best jazz singer, together with Abbey LINCOLN
and Cassandra WILSON.
In '98, David LINX was again nominated, this time with
Diederik WISSELS in Paris (category vocal jazz).
And in '99, their album Bandarkah (Label Bleu) has been
selected among the three nominees for the French Django d'Or
'99, in the category 'Europe'.
In '98, David LINX has been nominated in the vocal category of
the Victoires de la Musique in France, for his CD with
Diederik WISSELS, 'Up Close' (Label Bleu LBLC6586), next to
Dee Dee BRIDGEWATER and Diana KRALL.
In the Belgian jazz referendum organized by Belgian radios
RTBF and VRT, David LINX was elected best vocalist of the year
'98 in the categories Belgium and Europe.
