'Music is an international language, we love to make all these
different worlds and influences melt together'.
The Paul van Kemenade Quintet is constantly looking for
opportunities to mix with other musical disciplines and are
therefore evolving and aiming to lift their music to a higher
level. The music of this collaboration is build on a
colourfull basement of Southern African music styles and
European improvised music. Special guests ftom South Africa
are: trumpet/flugelhorn
player Feya Faku and tenor saxophone
player Sydney Mnisi. The Quintet is
playing with Feya and Sydney for some years now and did
several tours together.
