DESCRIPTION:The Podium Trio was named after the ‘Podium Prijs’ which they all won individual in 1983-1984-1985. They played hundreds of concerts together worldwide. Legendary were the concerts they played with the funky US tandem Jamaaladeen Tacuma and Cornell Rochester\, sometimes joined by David Murray\, George Lewis\, Kelvyn Bell a.o. In march and april 2016 they play 30 year ( Boys of Pearl) anniversary concerts in the unorthodox setting of trombone\, altosax and guitar.
